Planning a private boat event in Mallorca
What changes the price, when to go and how to get the most out of the day.
Team building and incentives at sea
A boat changes the tone of a company day. Laptops stay closed, the conversations happen on deck and the swim stop becomes the story people tell back at the office. We plan the catering, the drinks and the timings, so the organiser gets to enjoy the day too.
For incentive trips and MICE programmes the boat works as the highlight of the stay: a morning at anchor or a sunset outing that fits between meetings and dinner. Send us the programme and the headcount and we’ll fit the route and the timings to it.
What affects the price of a private boat event
Every event is quoted individually, and five things move the number: how many of you there are (it decides the boat), how long you stay out, the date, the port you leave from, and what you add on board, such as catering, an open bar or a DJ. Groups of 10 or more get 10% off the event.
If you have a budget in mind, tell us in the request. It’s much easier to design the day around a figure than to trim a proposal afterwards.
Weddings, birthdays and private celebrations
For a wedding lunch or a proposal, a catamaran or a classic boat at anchor gives you a setting no venue can match. Birthdays and family days work at any size, from a few guests to the whole family. And for hen and stag dos, the plan is simple: the whole group on one deck, a cove to swim in and catering on board.
Sunset or daytime?
Daytime is for swimming: calmer water in the coves, time for paddle surf and a long lunch at anchor. Sunset is for toasts, proposals and photos. Many groups do both: set off in the afternoon, swim, and come back with the sun going down.
Which port should you choose?
If you’re staying in Palma or near the airport, Palma, Can Pastilla or El Arenal save you the drive. Port d’Andratx and Sant Elm open up the wilder west coast and Dragonera island. In Ibiza, the Suncat catamaran takes you across to Formentera. Not sure? Tell us where you’re staying and we’ll suggest the port.

How many people can come on a private boat event?
It depends on the boat. Our fleet goes from the Mobula and the Garriguer, for 12 guests, to the Saona catamaran for large groups and company events. Tell us how many you are and we’ll suggest the right one.
How much does it cost to charter a private boat for an event in Mallorca?
Each event is quoted to measure, because the price depends on the group size, the boat, the length of the trip, the date and the extras you add. Send us the request and you’ll have a personalised, no-obligation quote the same day. Groups of 10 or more get 10% off.
Do you organise team building and incentive trips (MICE) by boat?
Yes. We plan company days, team building, client events and incentive trips on a private boat, and take care of catering, drinks, timings and logistics. Send us your programme and the number of guests and we’ll propose the boat and the route that fit.
Does it include catering and drinks? Can we customise the menu?
Yes. We offer catering on board and adapt it to what you’re after, from a light aperitif to a full meal, with options for different diets, plus a drinks package sized to your group. Tell us the style of the event and we’ll prepare a made-to-measure proposal.
Can we bring our own music and decoration?
Of course. You can bring your own playlist and the decoration that gives your celebration its meaning. We just ask you to mention it in advance so we can look after safety on board and have everything ready when you arrive.
How long does the event last and what routes do you offer?
You set the length, from a half-day outing to full days. We set sail from the Port of Palma, Can Pastilla, El Arenal, Port d’Andratx, Sant Elm and Ibiza, and design the route around your group and the moment: coves for swimming, sunsets or a relaxed cruise along the coast.
Is it only for large groups?
No. We organise events for small and large groups alike. And if there are 10 or more of you, we apply a 10% discount on the event price.
Can we charter a private catamaran for a wedding or company event?
Yes. The Saona catamaran sails from Palma and the Suncat from Ibiza, and both work for weddings, company events and larger celebrations. Tell us the date and the number of guests and we’ll confirm which boat fits.
Can you pick us up from a different port?
Often, yes. In many ports we can ask for permission to pick up guests. Choose “Somewhere else” in the quote and tell us where, and we’ll look into it.
Do you organise hen and stag dos on a boat?
Yes. The boat is private for your group, with swim stops, music and catering on board if you want it. Tell us the date and how many of you there are and we’ll send you the options.
