What can you do in each option?
From s’Arenal, the coves of the Llucmajor coast are just a short hop away and, a little further on, the whole Bay of Palma. These are just ideas: you and the skipper decide the route on the day, depending on the sea.

Time for two swim stops, a bite to eat on board and some lounging on the sundeck. The most balanced option if it’s your first time.

A whole day at sea
To explore the coast at your own pace, hop between as many coves as you like and see Palma from the water. The go-to plan for celebrations and larger groups.
The skipper may change course because of wind or sea conditions: they always pick the most sheltered spot of the day.

How much does it cost to hire the boat with a skipper?

How many people fit on the boat?
Up to 12 people, including children and babies. The price is the same whether there are 2 of you or 12.
Do I need a boating licence?
No. The hire includes a professional skipper who handles the boat for the whole trip; all you have to do is enjoy it.
Is fuel included in the price?
No, fuel is paid separately. If you’d like to know how much it comes to for the duration and route you have in mind, message us on WhatsApp before booking.
Where does the boat leave from?
From Club Náutico s’Arenal, at the end of Playa de Palma. The meeting point on Google Maps is called “Sa Calma Boats: Arenal Meeting Point”. Please be there 20 minutes before departure.
Can we board at another port?
Yes, boarding at other ports is possible, always subject to the port’s authorisation and at an extra cost. Message us on WhatsApp before booking and we’ll tell you whether it’s possible and how much it costs.
Can we choose the route?
Yes. It’s a private trip: you decide where to go, how long to stay at anchor and when to head back within the time you’ve booked. The skipper will advise you based on the wind and sea conditions.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. There’s a cool box on board to keep everything cold during the trip.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first: if the skipper decides it isn’t safe to go out because of the sea conditions, the trip is cancelled and we’ll contact you to change the date or refund you.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, with a full refund.
How far in advance do I need to book?
At least 24 hours before departure. In July and August the best times fill up sooner, so it’s worth booking a few days ahead.
Can we hire it for a company event?
Yes. For team building, incentives or celebrations with catering, have a look at our private events on board and we’ll prepare a quote for you.
